What
The Seattle Department of Construction & Inspections (SDCI) engaged the creative studio I support to architect and design a web portal, which would live within SDCI's existing architecture and website. The portal provides Seattle renters and landlords with a comprehensive 360-degree view of the rental process. In compliance with the City's new style guide, the illustrator and web designer delivered a set of intuitive wireframes and redline designs that were built by the City's development team.

How
Our UX team worked with stakeholders from City of Seattle and internal agency account managers to learn as much as possible about the target demographic and current userbase of SDCI; Utilizing data, user studies, and stakeholder interviews.

Results
The City of Seattle gained a new resource for tenants and landlords that offers concise and accessible information about tenant rights and policies around renting and leasing property.
